Sylvester joined the family in the Spring of 1994 much the same way as Stormy. Deb's first memory of him was seeing his little face peeking out at her from the woodpile in the rainy back yard. After drying him off, she fed him some wet cat food and listened as he meowed the whole time he was eating.
Sylvester was a sickly cat his whole life with sinus problems throughout his years. No amount of vet visits or homeopathic remedies could cure his excessive sneezing or constant running nose. Sylvester and Stormy were close in age and bonded right away both playing and sleeping together. Always a bit standoffish, Sylvester shied away from humans until late in life when he turned into a love kitty. He and Feisty liked each other but were always competing for the spot on the couch closest to Deb. As ornery and vocal as he was, I loved Sylvester a lot; always chuckling as he would come down the hall meowing at the top of his lungs that he was ready to eat. I was honored to comfort him when he passed and will always miss him terribly. He was our wonderful little Sneezeboy.
