Lori

I affectionately call Lori "Steppy" because she is officially my step-daughter, but I couldn't love her any more if she were my own flesh and blood.  She's a beautiful person in every respect and a true animal lover like her mother and me.  In my eyes no man will ever be worthy of her but, since I trust her judgment, I'll accept her choice wholeheartedly when she makes one.

I envy Lori because she's good enough at what she enjoys doing to make a living at it.  Deb and I both wish Lori was living closer but her being successful and happy mitigates the pain of not seeing her daily.  Deb must have done a great job in raising Lori for her to have become the wonderful woman she is.  I thank them both for allowing me into their lives.
